Alanna Zhang

About Me

Hello! My name is Alanna. I'm a 3rd year Computer Science major from Cleveland, Ohio. I enjoy learning about theory of computation and web programming (try resizing the window?). I was Director of Graphics for HackNC in 2023 and 2024 and have been an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for awhile--I'm currently with COMP 423. My favorite things about computer science are the ability to create new technology solutions with a team and the CS community here at UNC.
I play violin with the UNC Symphony Orchestra (concert on February 20th!) and my current video game obsession is Celeste--a neat platformer about climbing a mountain. I have died 4111 times so far died 5033x in the process, but I'm having fun and vibing with the art and music!
